Ubud has become a popular holiday village. Ubud is 45 minutes from the airport. The main intersection is the junction of Monkey Forest Road and Ubud’s main road, Jalan Raya Ubud that runs from the T junction just past the village of Peliatan It goes all the way to the Campuan and up to Sangangan past the Hotel Campuan. Along these roads you will find most of Ubud’s restaurants. Murni’s warung is one of the older establishments but still is solid and the Monkey Forest road has many places to dine. You’ll have a blast dinning in Ubud.

Murni's Warung - near the Campuan Bridge Three different levels on the river. This restaurant is an oldie but still a goodie. One of my favorites! Try the lounge on level two. Tel:975165 Amandari Restaurant - Kedewatn Gourmet, but expensive. Great for special occasions. Tel:975333 Batan Waru - Jalan Dewi Sita, Ubud Great Nasi Campur and Indonesian Dishes. Tel:977528 Beggars Bush and Bridge Café - near the Campuan Bridge I recommend the Balinese-style fish. Tel:975009 Bumbu - near bemo corner in Ubud Jalan Suweta is very good. Indian and vegetarian food. Tel:974217 Cafe Wayan and Bakery - Monkey Forest Road Lots of variety on their menu; very popular. The chocolate cake is killer!
