Day 1 Transfer from the airport to your Ubud area hotel.
Day 2 Visit the art museum and attend a mask-making workshop to learn about the character, spirit and function of the mask and watch the mask-maker perform his mask dance. In the evening attend a performance of the Kecak dance.
Day 3 Visit a dukun (Balinese healer/medicine man) to discuss healing by traditional medicines and magic drawings. Lesson on how to make a temple offering. Visit Petulu to see the white herons and attend evening performance of the Legong dance.
Day 4 Dress in traditional Balinese clothing and visit the mountain temple Batukaru, bringing the temple offering you've made. Discuss Hindu traditions and culture with the temple priest.
Day 5 Wearing traditional Balinese clothes visit the holy spring temple Tirta Empul at Tampaksiring for a personal purification. Also visit the Elephant Cave temple.
Day 6 Transfer to your Kuta, Legian or Sanur beach area hotel. Sightseeing along the way will include a performance of the Barong and Kris dance, a visit to a gamelan maker and Ulu Watu temple.
Day 7 Transfer to the airport (Extra nights at the beach are available.)
