Bali In Depth Tour

Day 1 Arrival transfer from the airport to your hotel in Ubud.

Day 2 Visit Tampaksiring holy spring temple, Kintamani and the art centers of Bali including Tohpati (batiks), Celuk (gold and silver works), Mas (wood-carving) and Ubud (painting). Attend a performance of the Barong and Kris dance.

Day 3 Morning visit to the ARMA museum. Attend a mask-making workshop with explanation of the spirit, character and function of the mask along with a mask dance demonstration. Afternoon at leisure. Evening performance of the Kecak dance.

Day 4 Visit Besakih (mother temple of Bali), Kerta Ghosa (ancient court house) and the clove plantations and rice terraces of Bukit Jambul and Selat.

Day 5 Day at leisure.

Day 6 Visit Karangasem in eastern Bali, including the fishing village at Kusamba, Bat Cave temple, Tenganan village, Water Garden Tirta Gangga and Palace of Karangesem. Also visit a gamelan maker and a dukun (medicine man).

Day 7 Morning visit to the Bird Park and Reptile Park. Afternoon at leisure. Late afternoon visit to Petulu and evening performance of the Legong dance.

Day 8 Transfer to the north of Bali with sightseeing along the way to include Bedugul, the fruit and flower market, Lake Beratan, Ulun Danu Temple, Gitgit Waterfalls. Overnight at Tamansari Bungalows in Pemuteran.

Day 9 Snorkel excursion to Menjangan Island.

Day 10 Transfer to the south of Bali driving through rice terraces and villages of Pupuan and Antosari. Accommodations at Legian, Kuta or Sanur beaches.

Day 11 Transfer to the pier for daytrip to Lombok. Upon disembarking the express boat, sightsee Senggigi Beach, Batu Bolong Temple, Mayura Water Palace, Narmada, Lingsar and Suranadi. Return to Bali and your hotel. (Option of flying to Lombok is available.)

Day 12 Visit Nusa Dua, Ulu Watu temple and Denpasar.

Day 13 Visit the Royal Temple Taman Ayun, holy monkey forest Alas Kedaton and sea temple Tanah Lot.

Day 14 Day trip to Yogyakarta includes roundtrip airfare and sightseeing at Borobudur, Mendut and Perambanan temples, the Sultan's Palace and city. Return to Bali and your hotel.

Day 15 Day at leisure.

Day 16 Day at leisure.

Day 17 Transfer to the airport.
