Candi Dasa Accomodations

Candi Dasa Beach is about a two-hour drive east from the Airport. I remember when there was only one home-stay at this beach, but now there are many posh as well as standard hotels. This is a quiet area where the presence of a beach is dependent upon the tide. Not far from this area is the famous water pools of Tirtaganga, and Tenganan, a traditional Bali aga village. There are many handicrafts and unique works of art for shoppers here. Candi Dasa is now a popular and relaxing retreat that has managed to retain its village identity. Attractions include snorkeling, scuba diving and tours to the seaward temple of Candi Dasa.
